Roy is a musician and son of rock and roll superstar Roy Orbison Sr. Viewers first saw Roy Jr. on Below Deck Med season 5, where he was a charter guest on the superyacht The Wellington. The Below Deck Med crew were charmed by Roy, who, despite being from music royalty, treated the staff well and left a generous tip.
The Below Deck Med staff saw Roy and his family again in season 6, where Roy was a bit more boisterous. Roy spent most of his time drinking anything he could get his hands on, much to Asa’s chagrin. Roy began slurring his words, which no one could decipher, as shown by the gibberish subtitles. He also made a mess in the bathroom, and his friend had to tell the staff about his mishap. Asa got so frustrated, that she had to chastise him to go to sleep. Still, no one on the Below Deck Med season 6 staff could get mad at Roy’s childish antics even as he tickled his friend and threatened to jump off the boat.
