Below Deck: Captain Glenn Reveals Jean-Luc Set Up Baby’s College Fund
Captain Glenn from Below Deck Sailing Yacht gave some insight into disgraced deckhand Jean-Luc «JL» Cerza Lanaux's parenting skills, noting that he set up a college fund for his daughter, Lilly Rose. JL was made the villain of the series after he denied getting Dani Soares pregnant. The single mother has been doing everything on her own, but JL may be starting to step up.
Dani and Jean-Luc had a very intimate relationship when they worked on the sailboat together, with fans thinking there could possibly be a happily ever after. But like most boatmances, things did not end well between the two. After Dani's pregnancy announcement, fans were quick to learn that Jean-Luc wanted nothing to do with the child. At the time, the entire crew rallied behind the stew by scolding the deckhand publicly. After taking a year off of social media, Jean-Luc returned to Instagram in January and announced he was the little girl's father.

Captain Glenn often likes to keep his nose out of his co-workers' drama, but he did have some special insight into Dani and Jean-Luc's baby drama. The captain shared with Us Weekly that JL may be starting to step up to the plate. In recent months, JL hasn't really posted about becoming a father but instead showed off exotic locations while he works. According to Captain Glenn, Jean-Luc regularly speaks to Lilly Rose via Zoom since they are far apart. The skipper also shared, «I heard that he's setting up a college fund.»
