The upcoming series Bel-Air releases new descriptions of its supporting cast and characters. The dramatized reboot of the '90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air began as a 2019 fan-film by Morgan Cooper, which was then developed for TV after catching the attention of original series star Will Smith. Bel-Air is gearing up to premiere on Super Bowl Sunday, February 13.
As with the sitcom, the Peacock show will follow the fictional character Will Smith, this time played by Jabari Banks, as he moves from Philadelphia to Bel-Air, California to live with his Aunt Vivian's family. Cassandra Freeman and Adrian Holmes will play Vivian and Uncle Phil, while Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, and Akira Akbar have been cast as Will's cousins Carlton, Hilary, and Ashley, respectively.
