Patrick Warburton has seen the viral Bee Movie memes for his character and has a lot of fun with them. Jerry Seinfeld's 2007 animated comedy centered on Barry B. Benson, a honey bee with the ability to talk to humans who learns how humans exploit bees for their honey while out on a pollen-gathering expedition in New York City. Barry teams up with his newfound florist friend Vanessa Bloome to sue the human race for exploiting bees by selling and consuming their honey.
Jerry Seinfeld led the cast of Bee Movie as Barry alongside Renée Zellweger as Vanessa, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Patrick Warburton and Chris Rock. Seinfeld also penned the script for the animated film with Seinfeld vet Spike Feresten, Barry Marder and Andy Robin. Hitting theaters in late 2007, Bee Movie received decidedly mixed reviews from critics, with criticism directed at its plot, lackluster humor and bland animation, but was a modest box office success, grossing over $293 million against its $150 million budget.
