EA has just announced season four of Battlefield 2042 is on the way. Called "Eleventh Hour," the upcoming season will bring a new map, a new armored vehicle, some new guns, and the last specialist to the game after Battlefield 2042 returned to a class-based system last month.
Battlefield 2042 was a departure from the series as it went from a class-based game to character-based, with specific specialists all coming armored with unique equipment and abilities. That changed with update 3.2 when all those specialists were assigned to Battlefield's traditional four classes: Assault, Engineer, Recon, and Support. Each class has its own set of equipment and weapon proficiencies to choose from but retains its specific specialist abilities.

The new specialist for Season 4: Eleventh Hour will be Camila Blasco, a Recon-class soldier of Spanish descent that comes with the X6-Infiltration Device. When planted on the ground, the X6 jams active spotting tech and prevents lock-ons from enemy equipment. It also reveals nearby opposing technology for quick and easy disposal. Blasco is also an Ambush Expert, making her impossible to spot with motion-based gadgets.
As with all Recon-class specialists, Blasco has the Constant Stead Scope ability to be better with sniper rifles, and the Insertion Beacon, which allows friendlies to spawn wherever the beacon is placed.
Besides the new specialist, Eleventh Hour also brings a new map: Flashpoint. Set in the deserts of South Africa, this underground research facility promises close-up and personal fights inside this interconnected complex, while above-ground fights will be more medium to long-range engagements
