It really feels like no number of hours in will be enough to uncover every mystery the game has to offer. Players have reported spending hundreds (or even thousands) exploring the various corners of Faerûn, only to stumble across a new item or hidden secret they'd previously overlooked in past playthroughs. Just under a year after its release, it's clear that players still haven't uncovered every possible secret in the game.
That said, there are some easily-missed features that are hiding in plain sight. As shared by Reddit user Cyberpunk39, it took them 384 hours of playing before discovering that there are bushes of Raspberriesscattered throughout the game. "" they commented, "" Though they may initially seem like part of the world's decoration, these bushes are interactable and contain a varied number of raspberries for players to pick.
Raspberries are a consumable item that can be used as part of a player's camp supplies when taking a Long Rest, though they're only worth one camp supply a piece (meaning players will need a minimum of 40 raspberries to get a full Long Rest). That said, they can also be eaten in battle and act a little bit like good berries. Each raspberry will restore 1d4 health, butthey don't require an action or bonus action to consume.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is loaded with summons that the party can call on for aid in battle, but a few especially helpful ones are very well hidden.
For the most part, these raspberry bushes are scattered throughout the overworld in Act 1, giving players who want to take their time combing through everything in the first area of some alternatives to healing potions. Since healing potions require specific (and not unlimited) resources to craft and can only be found to purchase through certain merchants, those taking their time through Act 1 are likely to need some additional goodies to help replenish their health.
There are plenty of other camp supplies scattered around Faerûn, so the raspberries won't be necessary
