Baldur's Gate 3 caps you at level 12, which can seem pretty low. Unlike previous games in the series that capped experience, you can keep earning XP - it just won't go anywhere by the time you've reached your twelfth level. So, of course, we have a mod to get rid of that restriction, and let us become the most overpowered beings in all of Faerûn.
As spotted by GamesRadar+, the Level 30 mod by Nexus user Elmvick does exactly what it says on the tin, raising the level cap to 30. While this is still far off from the biggest boss in the game, it's enough to make your party incredibly powerful - perhaps too powerful for the confines of the story.
Thanks to Elmvick, all of the classes have new unlocks for all of the levels too. For example, if you're playing as a Monk, you'll have too many Ki Points to know what to do with by the time you're at max level. The same goes for magic users and spell slots - I'm not sure we'll even need to long rest anymore.
Expansions for the original Baldur's Gate games came with level cap increases, so who knows? Maybe we'll get the same for Baldur's Gate 3.
"You need a total of 610000 XP to reach level 30 which is about triple what you would need to reach 12," explains Elmvick. "All experience gains are doubled except combat experience which is tripled."
In other words, yeah, no one should want to mess with you. I mean, they still will, because the show must go on and all that. But really, they must have a death wish. Having Shadowheart able to throw out healing spells as much as she wants sounds powerful enough, let alone having Lae'zel as a tank with about a billion different Feats on hand. I don't think there would be anything she couldn't react to.
Of course, you'll still go up against foes
