Former lead of The Bachelorette Tayshia Adams was announced as the host of the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted. Tayshia is one of the most beloved members of Bachelor Nation. She got her start on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor in 2019. In the summer of that year, she joined the cast of Bachelor In Paradise, but did not find lasting love despite having a brief relationship with John Paul Jones, also known as JPJ. In 2020, when Clare Crawley left her season of The Bacheloretteearly to get engaged to Dale Moss, Tayshia replaced her as the lead. At the end of the season, Tayshia got engaged to Zac Clark, but they broke up in November 2021.
Tayshia is a fan-favorite who has had much success with hosting during and after her time with Bachelor Nation. She was the co-host of The Bachelorette season 17 and season 18, along with Kaitlyn Bristowe, and helped Katie Thurston and Michelle Young on their journeys. She was also one of the co-hosts of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast from 2019-2021 and Click Bait with Bachelor Nation from 2020-2021. Outside of The Bachelor franchise, Tayshia has co-hosted Entertainment Tonight and E! Daily Pop.
