It may have taken years for Hawkeye to take the spotlight, but now it seems like Clint Barton could finally be getting his due after a slight tweak in Disney's websites hinted at Marvel Studios' archery master getting another season alongside his apprentice, Kate Bishop.
Up to this point, Loki is the only live-action Marvel Studios series on Disney Plus to have received instant confirmation of a follow-up season, with the announcement acting as the series’ actual post-credits scene. In WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, or Moon Knight'scase the situation is a bit different, as either their respective narrative arcs or the shows' less impressive performance compared to Loki have kept Marvel Studios from making any further announcements.

While it’s hardly any kind of concrete confirmation, Disney made some stealth changes to the “Consider” section meant to promote the Hawkeye series for nominations in the Emmy Awards. The series was previously listed the six-episode show under the “Best Limited Series” category. Instead, Hawkeye is now referred to as an “Outstanding Comedy Series,” which admittedly could amount to nothing or would very much confirm Disney's intent to produce a second season.
Considering Hawkeye's finale reintroduced Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, as well as an entirely new character already lined up for her own series in Alaqua Cox's Echo, there seems to be more than ample ground for Jeremy Renner to continue thriving in the MCU.
