After Gabby Windey and Jason Alabaster's romantic one on one date in Paris on The Bachelorette, fans are praising both of them for opening up about mental health and therapy. Jason met Gabby along with Rachel Recchia on night one, when he compared himself to Clayton Echard during his entrance by saying that he was also in love with three women who ended up being his mother, sister, and dog. Jason proceeded to form a stronger connection with Gabby than Rachel, and later accepted a rose to join Gabby's group of men during the second rose ceremony.
After week 3, host Jesse Palmer announced that the men would be leaving the mansion to begin traveling around the world, which would begin with France. However, two men would fly to Paris separately to go on special one-on one-dates with Bachelorettes Gabby and Rachel. Jason was chosen to go on the date with Gabby, while Tino Franco was selected by Rachel. Jason and Gabby began the date by walking around Paris in the rain, before going into a beret shop to try on hats. Gabby noted that Jason was reserved, but later on during the dinner portion of the date he opened up about his experiences with anxiety and therapy. Gabby responded by sharing her experiences with therapy as well, and Jason received the date rose at the end of the night.
