On The Bachelorette season 19, contestant Tyler Norris made it clear that he only wants to pursue Rachel Recchia, and he now reveals that he had DM'd her while she was appearing on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor. Tyler had coincidentally written a poem for her the night before which he wanted to share with her, so it worked out perfectly for him.
During the dinner, Rachel told Tyler that she was touched by how vulnerable he was during the group date. Tyler continued to open up to her about his past relationship in which he was hurt, but he said that the unconditional love that he felt was the best feeling in the world. The Bachelorette frontrunner wants to give love to the right person, and he is not scared of getting hurt again. Rachel told him that she saw so much of herself in him because they are both willing to love and be hurt because love is the ultimate thing. Tyler told Rachel that he would have done anything to meet her. He said,«I came here for you. You know that.» Rachel and Tyler kissed, and she gave him the rose.
