Courtesy of PlayStation, a new combat-focused trailer for Babylon’s Fall has been released, showing off magical Dynamis Abilities and different weapons players can use during their journey. Developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix, Babylon’s Fall is a co-op action RPG where players take control of Sentinels, unwilling subjects who were granted powers by a parasitic device called the Gideon Coffin. A demo is coming a week before Babylon’s Fall's launch date, which is set for March 3.
The introduction ofBabylon’s Fall at Sony’s 2019 State of Play was met with intrigue from players after months of speculation on the game. The initial trailer reveal showcased gameplay similar to other PlatinumGames titles like Bayonetta and NieR: Automata, with the typical hack-and-slash gameplay fans have come to expect from the studio. For those who've enjoyed this style of combat, Babylon's Fall is high on players' interest lists, but it's unclear just how successful it may be as a live service title. It looks that PlatinumGames is remaining positive about Babylon’s Fall, having already announced a NieR: Automata anniversary event.
