Babu Frik's fighting style has been revealed as part of a behind-the-scenes video for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The tiny Anzellan debuted in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and the idea of the 9-inch tall alien in a fistfight has amused fans and the developers of the game.
The LEGO Star Wars games have been hugely popular since the first game's release in 2005. Previous games had only covered parts of the saga, be it the prequel trilogy, original trilogy, or one-offs such as the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens game. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the first time a LEGO Star Wars title will be covering all nine films from the entire mainline saga. As a result, this will be the first time many characters from The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker will be appearing in a LEGO game.

In a behind-the-scenes video posted on Warner Bros Games' YouTube channel, many of the developers behind LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gave interviews about the state of the game. The developers discussed the vast variety of explorable planets, collectibles, and characters that will be available for players upon the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The team discussed their favorite playable characters, including ones such as Mama The Hutt, or characters who have been created entirely for this game. As part of this segment around the 4:40 mark, Mark Crane, Lead Animator on the game, commented on the appearance of Babu Frik, describing him as "hilarious, because he's so tiny", as the footage showed the miniature alien jumping and punching a Stormtrooper.
