Marvel Studios has reportedly entered into an agreement with screenwriter Jeff Loveness to pen the script for the upcoming film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Loveness is no stranger to the studio, having previously written the script for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will feature the malevolent antagonist Kang the Conquer, whose role will be significant in the upcoming Avengers film.
During the studio's presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige first announced Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The film is one of three slated to release during Phase 6 for the cinematic universe, which will start with Fantastic Four and end with Avengers: Secret Wars, officially concluding The Multiverse Saga for the studio.
Predicting The Avengers Roster For The Kang Dynasty
Per Deadline, the highly-anticipated project has found its writer in Loveness, whose attachment to the project makes sense due to the screenwriter's knowledge of the film's emblematic supervillain, Kang the Conquer. The new antagonist, played by Jonathan Majors, will play a critical role in the upcoming Ant-Man project, making the screenwriters established connection with the character important for the supervillain's development as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty approaches. Not much beyond the title was clear when announced, but the picture for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is slowly starting to materialize.
