Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora pre-orders seem to be going live soon. Last year Disney finally released Avatar: The Way of Water, the long-anticipated sequel to James Cameron's record-breaking sci-fi action movie Avatar, which went on to become the highest grossing film of all time. In the run-up to its release, Ubisoft announced Avatar: Froniters of Pandora, a video game spin-off set in the world of Pandora that has still yet to see an official release after a few delays. Now, it appears the game is finally gearing up for release.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was announced in 2017, when Ubisoft studio Massive Entertainment, the developer of The Division series, revealed that it was beginning development on a video game set in the universe of James Cameron's Avatar. Frontiers of Pandora was showcased through an in-engine teaser released in 2021, that revealed that the game will be a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S generation exclusive title. The game was planned to release in 2022, which would put it around the release of Avatar: The Way of Water, but it was later delayed to a vague 2023/2024 time frame.

Nothing surrounding Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been seen officially since that E3 2021 teaser, but it appears that Ubisoft will begin promoting the game soon, as a Twitter user with access to Ubisoft's digital storefront backend has claimed that pre-orders will soon go live for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The user also shared an image of the game's pre-order bonuses which includes a DLC pack titled "The Child of Two Worlds Pack" that contains a cosmetic set and a weapon skin.
