Asus ROG Phone 6 is here after a long delay but it brings in enough upgrades to justify the wait. The ROG Phone 6 uses the fastest chipset any Android phone can use, and it also offers the most insane specs gamers can think of. The ROG Phone 6 series comes in two flavours – ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. India availability is yet to be revealed but the prices for India are out. The Asus ROG Phone 6 goes up the price ladder this time with a price of Rs. 71,999 for the single variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The ROG Phone 6 Pro, on the other hand, will come with a price tag of Rs. 89,999 for the lone variant with 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. The ROG Phone 6 comes in Phantom Black and Storm White colours, while the ROG Phone 6 Pro comes in the Solar White colour variant. The phone largely remain unchanged from their predecessors but just bring tweaks to suit the 2022 smartphone market.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and Phone 6 Pro are largely similar, except for the design and RAM/storage configuration. The phone features the 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and 720Hz of touch sampling rate. It also supports HDR10+ colours and has up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. The display also gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone’s rear also features a small pOLED display that can be customised.
Other than that, the phone gets the latest and fastest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that is equipped with up to 12GB RAM on the standard model and up to 18GB RAM on the Pro variant. The cooling system has also been said to be improved than before.
