Assassin's Creed Valhalla 2022 Roadmap Shows What's Coming Later This Month and in March
Ubisoft made it known ahead of launch that Assassin's Creed Valhalla would be supported for a few years after its release. Released in November 2020, Valhalla is now just over a year old, and Ubisoft is keeping its word with new updates for Viking-themed entry in the acclaimed franchise. Fans now know what's on the immediate horizon thanks to a roadmap detailing upcoming patches and DLC.
Released over on Twitter, the roadmap highlights the new content being added to Assassin's Creed Valhalla between now and March, and there's a decent amount coming. First up, Ubisoft will release Assassin's Creed Valhalla title update 1.5.0 on February 22. Ubisoft didn't dive into the specifics of what the update will entail, but it will likely pack in some surprises considering that it's significant enough to include in the roadmap.

On top of the update, those that haven't purchased Assassin's Creed Valhalla will have the chance to try it for free. From February 24-28, Ubisoft will be offering a free trial, allowing potential Vikings to get a taste of what Valhalla holds. Four days is a healthy chunk of time for a trial, even enough to potentially beat Valhalla for those that dedicate their free time to it, but probably not enough to see all it has to offer.
Luckily, the free periods are usually also coupled with some sort of sale, and given Valhalla's appearances in recent PlayStation Store sales, there's a good chance that it will be offered at a sizable discount. It's been supported with a few beefy pieces of DLC, so there's plenty to see and do in Valhalla for those looking for a game to dump boatloads of time into.
