Arrow star Stephen Amell shared a throwback video to his time training for the series in 2012. Arrow, which is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, premiered its first season on The CW in October 2012. It was such a hit that it not only ran for 8 seasons, but also launched an entire family of DC shows on the network called the Arrowverse. Although Arrow ended in January 2020, the Arrowverse lives on with its sister series including The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and Superman & Lois.
The lead character of Arrow is the wealthy playboy and vigilante hero Green Arrow, also known as Oliver Queen. Queen was played by Stephen Amell, who rocketed to stardom on the back of the character and his newfound status as a sex symbol. As the lead of an action-heavy franchise, the actor had to train hard and his shirtless scenes were another huge draw for many audience members.

On his Instagram, Stephen Amell shared a video of himself training for the role in February 2012, eight months before Arrow season 1premiered. The video shows him jumping up a brick wall to hang onto a bar, leaping to a bar on a perpendicular wall, then leaping to yet another pullup bar stationed opposite the brick wall. He jokingly captioned the video "I can still do that. Probably ." Check out the video below:
