Steven McBee made a big decision in sending Whitney home on the most recent episode of Joe Millionaire, and now the contestant is defending herself from fans who say she was after Steven's money. A few episodes ago, Steven and fellow bachelor Kurt Sowers were both seemingly catching feelings for Whitney, and the contestant was having a great time getting to know both the guys. After winning a challenge for coming across as the most authentic, Whitney was rewarded a gold coin that she could use at any moment for a one on one date with either of the guys. She chose to use the coin on Kurt, and the two had a romantic date night under the stars, making it clear they both had feelings for each other.
However, things took an unexpected turn in the latest episode of Joe Millionaire, and Whitney was unexpectedly sent packing her bags and heading home. Kurt and Steven finally narrowed contestants down to six women and were notified they'd be spending time dating them individually. The women then moved out of the manor and into individual hotel rooms to avoid them sharing experiences from their dates with each other. The contestants also had the option of continuing to date Kurt and Steven or choosing between the men. Whitney decided to keep her options open, but after an amazing date with Steven, she let Kurt know that she didn't feel the same sparks with him that she did with Steven. Unfortunately, Steven felt that the two were on different pages about their future together and sent Whitney home.
