Armored Core fans were thrilled during last year’s The Game Awards. It was unveiled to the public that the game franchise was going to make a grand return from the talented folks at FromSoftware. But while we waited for the game to land in the marketplace, fans continued seeking out any marketing materials to show what they could expect from the new installment. Today, a new presentation was held in Japan. Unfortunately, this was only in Japanese, so you might be out of luck with translations. However, during the lengthy hour-long presentation, there are moments of gameplay showcased to viewers.
You’ll have to navigate the video at different points to see some of the new gameplay footage and cinematics. Unfortunately, it’s not a full presentation focusing on the gameplay footage. But for instance, scrolling through to around forty minutes of the footage, you’ll get a look at some PvP gameplay moments in the game. We’ve seen some PvP footage already for the game. But this latest footage highlights some 3v3 combat, which looks quite chaotic.
Additionally, a little over an hour into the video, you’ll get a look at some of the customization options for the mechs. If you’re familiar with previous Armored Core video games, then you might know that there is a big focus on customizing your mechs. That will allow players to get a say in how their mechs will handle the game. Meanwhile, you’ll likely spend some time in this menu as you tweak your mech to deal with whatever type of enemy you might be rolling into for your next mission.
Again, this is just a lengthy presentation within Japan that showcases some gameplay clips throughout the game. However, we know that later this evening, there will be a presentation for Armored Core
