A developer at Respawn Entertainment has provided an update about the possibility of Ranked Duos coming to Apex Legends, revealing that there are no current plans for the mode. Unsurprisingly, some fans were disappointed by this developer update from Respawn. It is worth pointing out that this is not the only fan-requested mode that the developers of Apex Legends have said will likely not become a permanent fixture of the game. During Season 2, Respawn Entertainment introduced the Apex Solo LTM, which removed the team dynamic from the battle royale experience. While the solo mode became popular, with many requesting its permanent return, it will likely never happen.
