Into the Storm Updated Reward - Coralscale Salamanther Mount
Part of the Patch 10.2.6 updates includes the addition of many new meta-achievement mounts. One of them is an addition to an old achievement, Into the Storm, which now rewards the Coralscale Salamanther mount.
This achievement was added at the start of Dragonflight and requires you to do some tasks under Elemental Storms, including killing 200 enemies under each elemental storm in each of Dragonflight's original zones.
What are Elemental Storms?
Elemental Storms are Dragonflight's version of Invasion, which has been present in WoW since Legion. These happen every three hours and last two hours. It is random which zone and which element an invasion will have.

Completing Into the Storm
To complete Into the Storm, you must complete the following achievements:
- Storm Chaser — Details below!
- Stormed Off — Defeat 8 special creatures during storm events in the Dragon Isles.
At the start of an Elemental Storm and every 30 to 50 minutes after, one of these creatures will spawn at a Storm. Defeat eight different ones to complete this.
Elemental Overload — Collect 5000 Elemental Overflow
- You'll likely gather more than enough while doing Storm Chaser, but it can also be farmed more efficiently from activities in The Forbidden Reach.
Storming the Runway — Collect one of the armor sets from Primal Storms.
- Items for this can be acquired from Mythressa in Valdrakken and cost around 3200 Elemental Overflow.
Storm Chaser
This is the hardest part of this achievement, requiring you to kill 200 enemies empowered by each Elemental Storm type in each Dragonflight original zone.
This means there are sixteen achievements you must complete for this:
- Chasing Storms in The Waking Shores
Thunderstorms in The Waking Shores - Sandstorms in The Waking Shores
- Firestorms in The Waking Shores
- Snowstorms in The Waking Shores
Chasing Storms in the Ohn'ahran Plains
- Thunderstorms in the Ohn'ahran
