Sabotage Studio's upcoming RPG, Sea of Stars, has become one of the most anticipated indie releases of the year. It's fast approaching, too, releasing digitally on PS5 and PS4 on 29th August, 2023 — not only that, but it'll be on PS Plus Extra from day one. We dare say a lot of people will opt to buy and/or play this title digitally, but if you've been hoping for a physical release, you're in luck.
Just announced, Sabotage is partnering with iam8bit for the physical edition of the game:
Details are limited at the moment, but what we do know is the physical release will arrive quite a bit later than the digital version. If you want a boxed copy to adorn your shelf, you'll have to wait until early 2024. Unfortunately, that's about all the detail we have, but you can sign up to iam8bit's newsletter to stay informed.
Will you be getting your hands on Sea of Stars via PS Store, or are you going to wait for the physical release? Be patient in the comments section below.
