A recent social media trend has seen a number of video game ideas generated by AI, with fans merely needing to add keywords to generators like Dall-E Mini. The results can vary wildly between being incredibly accurate and completely bizarre, which many would argue only adds to the entertainment value.
Every villager in Animal Crossing has a unique appearance and one of several personality types. This has led to some villagers enjoying immense popularity within the community, while at the same time, others have been left out in the metaphorical cold. Raymond the cat, for example, quickly became the focal point of a black market following the release of New Horizons, as players desperate to have him on their islands began to pay astounding sums for the privilege. Players typically favor unique, cute, or realistically-designed villagers, and some of the game's quirkier villager designs mean there are lots of ACNH NPCs fans don't want to see again.

Now the Animal Crossing-focused YouTuber Timmy vs Tommy has added four brand new villagers to the game with the help of an AI generator. Consisting of Trixy the cub, Stripes the wolf, Bandit the cat, and Buttons the hamster, the designs for these characters were generated by the AI image-generating software Dall-E Mini. Timmy vs Tommy then adapted the designs to proper character models, before porting the finished villagers into New Horizons.
