Square Enix has revealed that Bahamut will be a new boss in the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin DLC, along with the Warrior of Light from the original Final Fantasy. If they can bring the Rat Tail to Bahamut, then he will upgrade the jobs of all of the main characters, making them far stronger than they were before.
