Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a myriad of Villagers that can make their home on any player's island, but it's entirely possible to have an island with residents who are all dog Villagers. There are 17 different dog Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and there are nearly enough personality differences between them all to virtually have no repeats. Although it'll be a challenge, players who are set on having all of their island's Villager be dogs can do so with a bit of time and patience in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Only 10 villagers can live on an island at a time in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and players can be lucky enough to start with at least one dog resident. Suppose either of the starting Animal Crossing: New Horizon Villagers isn't a dog or specifically one of the dog Villagers that players want. In that case, they will have to patiently wait several days before the villagers think about leaving the island. After several days have passed, any Villager that has been ignored will have a thought bubble over their head as they move around the island, allowing players to encourage the resident to move off the island the next day.
