Twitch streamer Amouranth is one of the world's most popular online content creators, raking in millions from her Twitch channel and other ventures. Amouranth is one of the most popular Twitch streamers of all time, and so it's no surprise that she has a lot of dedicated fans. However, one fan has allegedly crossed the line into «stalker» territory, showing up at Amouranth's house and getting arrested in the process.
Amouranth recently shared details about an alleged stalker who had traveled from Europe to stalk her in Texas. Amouranth said that she was in fear for her life because the stalker had nothing to lose. They had apparently sold everything they owned and even gave up their pet cat to make the trip to Houston, Texas to stalk Amouranth, renting a room in a nearby hotel, mimicking her livestreams, and indicating that he was trying to find her.
Amouranth Responds to Criticism Over Rising Gas Prices
Amouranth has now given an update on the stalker situation in a Twitter thread where she explains it all in detail. According to Amouranth, the stalker came from Estonia in Europe, «camping out daily» at a Starbucks near her PO box. The stalker live-streamed his exploits on Twitch, allegedly sending Amouranth «dancing videos» that she compared to the Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.
After about 44 days of this, the stalker finally traveled to Amouranth's house on Monday, June 13. Amouranth said that the stalker tried to break into her house, and so she called 9-11, but that «dispatch was rude» and put her on hold.
