Earlier this month, we reported that AMD's Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs had witnessed up to a 12% drop in prices and now, retailers are further slashing down the price to attract more gamers towards the newer chips.

In the latest price cut spree, Microcenter has led all retailers in offering the best deals on the AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPU family. As of right now, the retailer offers the flagship AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPU, which is a 16-core part, for $589.99 US versus its $649.99 US MSRP. This marks a -9.2 percent price cut which is the lowest price we have seen so far.

Moving to the other SKUs, the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X can still be bought for the $439.99 US price and that's a good bit lower than the $499.99 US MSRP, marking a 12% price drop. It looks like the CPU is going to end up around the $400 US mark in a few months if the price drops continue. Lastly, we have the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X which is now available for as low as $319.99 US versus its $359.99 US MSRP, marking a -11% price drop. The Ryzen 5 9600X is also available for $10 US lower at $269.99 US but we have previously seen prices as low as $259 US.

It should also be pointed out that all AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs in the Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 segment "Zen 4 + Zen 5" are eligible for two free game copies including Space Marine II and Unknown 9 Awakening. Microcenter also offers bundled deals and extra savings when buying compatible products with Ryzen 9000
