The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE GPU is a weird product that is only available outside of China through select system integrators. As such, the graphics card has recently started to show up within listings by EU retailers.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE is now available in a €999 PC build being sold by the German system integrator MemoryPC, making it the cheapest possible option to get your hands on the GPU.
It's $649 US and a similar price point for the overseas market might be quite attractive when we compare it to the RTX 4070 series, however, acquiring it has become difficult to due the lack of availability. AMD made the Radeon RX 7900 GRE into a "China-focused" launch, offering the graphics card in Chinese markets through DIY channels. However, globally the GPU is limited to specific system builders, and acquiring the GPU will make it mandatory to buy a complete PC.
MemoryPC has currently two separate options, starting from €999. The cheaper option includes AMD's Ryzen 5 5600, 16 GB DDR4 memory, and 1TB storage with other relevant specs meeting the borderline. This configuration makes little sense since the RX 7900 GRE is an enthusiast-class card and pairing it with a Ryzen 5 5600 doesn't seem like an ideal choice.
Considering individual pricing of components, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE comes at a cost of €650-€670 depending upon the option you chose. For those looking to step up the game, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE is also paired with the high-end Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Core i9-12900K, both packages coming at €1,749.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE GPU is also available in Australia, but once again, through a system builder. PLE Computers has combined the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE GPU with AMD's Ryzen 7 7700, coming at a tremendous price of AUD
