Amazon Prime's monthly free games have become a highlight for subscribers of the service with the premium subscription regularly offering high-profile titles for Prime members. August's selection of free games with Prime featured Blizzard's Starcraft: Remastered as one of its six games, alongside a handful of indie games. Previous months have also featured AAA games like Dead Space 2, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, among others. Now, Amazon has revealed its free games for September, and it's a stacked list.
Amazon officially unveiled its free games with Amazon Prime for September with a batch of well-known games coming to the free promotion. September's free games include several popular AAA games with Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Origins and the Game of the Year Edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor headlining the monthly offerings. Football Manager 2022 will also be joining the Amazon Prime promotion with other smaller games like The Dig and Defend the Rook included among the list of eight games.

Amazon's featuring of Assassin's Creed: Origins will be joined by future content planned for the newest entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise. The September games announcement also revealed that Prime members would be able to claim in-game content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla starting on September 13th. Prime currently features a «Charlemagne Bundle» for Assassin's Creed Valhalla with Prime members able to acquire free cosmetics. Amazon also confirmed Prime-exclusive content coming for two other games throughout September in Skull & Bones and Rainbow Six Siege.
