A selection of GOG’s DRM-free games are now available on cloud gaming service Amazon Luna, which has launched in three additional countries.
As of today, Luna+ subscribers and Amazon Prime members can buy and play over 40 games from the GOG store.
Titles available include Baldur’s Gate 3, Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight and Cuphead, with cloud saves and achievements shared across the two platforms.
Luna can be played on a number of devices including PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and select LG and Samsung Smart TVs.
It supports the Amazon Luna controller, various third-party peripherals including Xbox One and PS4 pads, plus mouse and keyboard. Players can also use their phone as a controller for some games.
Amazon has also announced the launch of Luna in Austria, the Netherlands and Poland. The service was already available in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
“We are excited to team up with Amazon Luna to give customers more choice and flexibility in how they play,” said GOG managing director Maciej Gołębiewski.
“We trust Amazon to maintain GOG’s high standard for player experience, no matter where they play. This is a great opportunity to get our platform in front of a new audience of gamers on Fire TV and Fire tablets. This is just the beginning, and we will be adding more titles on an ongoing basis.”
GOG also launched its Summer Sale today. Running until July 10, it includes over 6,000 offers and discounts of up to 95%, according to the company.
