Blizzard has announced that the damage and healing done by trinkets and cantrip (special effect) items will be increased by about 50% following a bug fix today.

We recently identified an issue that was impacting the damage and healing done by all War Within trinkets and similar items (cantrips), such as Arathi Demolition Charge’s barrel or Reinforced-Wax Plating.

Today, we’re fixing the bug, and the result should be an increase on all of those effects of almost 50%.
