Tekken 8 just got a release date and confirmed a bunch of returning characters, but nobody in their right mind really cares about that stuff. The real news is that Tekken 8 will bring back the all-important Jukebox Mode (thanks, @Yellow_Motion), which lets you play music from every previous Tekken title. You can also replace stage music with old tracks, if you want.
Jukebox Mode originally appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and was a genuine highlight of Tekken 7. The near 30-year-old series is absolutely packed with bangers, and being able to place your favourites throughout the latest game makes for one heck of a nostalgia trip.

Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
Meh. Tekken games used to be packed with bangers. Distinct, varied, unique. Give me any track from Tekken 1-4 and I could tell you which character it belongs to. Later games however linked music to stage not character, and was nearly always something generic.
Yoshimitsu's 'Serene Forest' level music from Tekken 2 was missing from Tekken 7 and, for my money, is one of the best.

That makes me so happy I absolutely love this feature the classic Tekken's have some of the best music in video game history ^__^. I wish Street Fighter VI had this feature as well it has some awesome music but it would be nice to be able to use some classic SF music as well.
(Btw just to let you know Tekken Tag 2 was the first game with the feature not 7)
