Now that AEW Fight Forever has gotten its release date, we’ll find out more about the title’s roster and what special bonuses we’ll receive both before and after its launch. The team had already confirmed that special characters would be available after launch, and they would do a long-term adding of roster members versus always having a new title coming out each year. Today, they dropped a trailer for the pre-order bonuses and revealed the first part of the Season Pass. Would you like to know who’s “all elite”?
We’ll start with the pre-order bonus, which is about to get BROKEN!!!! Because as revealed in the tweet below, if you pre-order the game early, you’ll get not one but two versions of Matt Hardy. That might sound odd to those outside the wrestling business, but there’s a reason. Matt Hardy is a legend in the wrestling game and has made “personas” over the years. But over the last several years, both in AEW and beyond, he adopted a persona known as “Broken” Matt Hardy, where he acts rather uniquely and claims to be possessed by various entities. In AEW, that entity was called “Damascus” and had a big impact early on, including being in the first Stadium Stampede Match.
