With a lot of new stuffed Pokémon coming to the store, players can get their hands on many of their favorite characters in plush form. From new additions for Meowth, Snorlax and more, there's always a cute new teddy that fans can add to their collection.
As part of the Pokémon Center's Pikachu Celebrations collection that sees the character dressed up to celebrate many of the year's seasonal events, this new Pokémon Center plush highlights the start of the academic and fiscal year. With Pikachu dressed head-to-toe in a suit and tie, briefcase and glasses, he looks as professional as ever. The release also comes with a small story snippet, explaining how the little guy is going to work on behalf of their trainer that's overslept.
With its original release in April, which is known to be the month of new beginnings in Japan, this new Pikachu plushie isn't just adorable but also quite motivational. As an ode to many new college graduates starting new jobs and dressing up in their new business attire, this Intern Pikachu is actually a reality for many. With a suave blazer, a briefcase adorned with a Poké Ball icon, a smart shirt and tie and glasses to match, it's hard not to take Pikachu very seriously in his new role.
