Industry veteran Adam Boyes is leaving Iron Galaxy.
In a blog post on the company's website, the co-CEO said that he would be stepping down from his role by the end of 2024. Chelsea Blasko will become the studio's CEO upon his departure; she was promoted to co-CEO back in 2020.
Boyes joined Iron Galaxy in 2016 as its chief executive officer having previously worked at the likes of PlayStation, EA and Capcom. There's no word yet as to where he is off to next.
"I want to offer my sincerest thanks to the people who welcomed me to lead this company with them," Boyes wrote.
"Dave Lang, thank you for trusting me to push the boundaries of what Iron Galaxy could accomplish. Chelsea Blasko, thank you for teaching me so much about building a strong culture – Iron Galaxy is in the best possible hands with you as their sole CEO.
"This transition won’t happen all at once. I’ll remain on as a member of this team until the end of the year. As for what’s next? I’ll talk about that later. The most I can say right now is that an industry that I love is suffering. My new inspirations are to find ways to help people who make games solve their biggest problems. But that is a story for another time."
