A new kart racing game featuring characters from Fox-owned animated shows is coming to Apple Arcade.
Warped Kart Racers combines characters from the following TV series:
The trailer for the game can be seen below:
The game will feature 20 characters – five from each series – and a total of 16 tracks, and will include controller support.
It will also include online multiplayer for up to 8 players as well as what appears to be a variety of customisable outfits, vehicles, wheels, gliders and antennae.
According to the game’s description on the Apple App Store, it will include an “extensive single-player campaign” and will feature daily challenges which can be completed to unlock new characters, skins, karts and customisations.
The game is being developed by Electric Square, which previously developed the free-to-play racing game Forza Street. Initially released as Miami Street, the game was rebranded as a Forza title in April 2019 but was shut down last month.
Electric Square also provided development support for Battlefield 2042 and Sniper Elite 5, and is working with Ubisoft on an upcoming Assassin’s Creed VR game for Meta/Oculus.
Warped Kart Racers will be released on Apple Arcade on May 20.
