Several Starfield editions have seemingly leaked ahead of their imminent announcement.
According to dataminer billbil-kun, who has an excellent track record of product leaks, Microsoft is planning to release three editions of Bethesda’s game.
These are expected to be announced during Sunday’s Xbox Games Showcase, which will be directly followed by a Starfield Direct presentation offering a deep dive into the sci-fi RPG.
The standard edition will reportedly be priced at €69.99 on PC and €79.99 on Xbox Series X/S. The console version is expected to cost $70 in the US.
A Premium Edition is estimated but not yet confirmed to cost €104.99 on PC and €114.99 on consoles.
And a Constellation Edition is said to be priced at €299.99 (which converts to around $322) on both PC and Xbox Series X/S.
The same source recently claimed that Microsoft will also announce two Starfield-themed Xbox accessories during Sunday’s event, and then make them immediately available for purchase.
Microsoft is reportedly planning to unveil a special edition Xbox controller costing $79.99 / £69.99 / €74.99 and a wireless headset priced at $124.99 / £114.99 / €124.99.
Starfield was originally scheduled to be released last November, but in May of 2022 the game was delayed to the first half of 2023.
In March, Bethesda announced a further delay, with Starfield now targeting a September 6 release date.
“We have poured ourselves into this game and even I’m surprised how much we can pour, it is large,” Starfield director Todd Howard said at the time.
“But also this June we’re going to bring you into the studio, and give you a deep dive into the game at our Starfield Direct. There’s so much that we still have to show you.”
