Usman hasn’t had the best of luck with women in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. His first marriage was with “Baby Girl” Lisa Hamme, a strong-willed woman 18 years his senior. Usman and Lisa appeared on Before the 90 Days season 4, where they married but then divorced after less than a year. Now he’s moved on to his new love interest—Kimberly Menzies. Kimberly also has strong opinions, which sometimes contributes to their turmoil. However, Usman doesn’t always appear to have the best intentions.
After lying to Kimberly for the better part of their time together in Tunisia about his music video “Zara,” 90 Day Fiancé star Usman finally revealed the truth. Zara was a woman he used to date and was in love with, but she couldn’t handle the Nigerian rapper’s fans. Understandably, Kimberly was heartbroken, and wanted a grand gesture from him to prove his dedication to her. However, at the end of season 5, viewers learned Usman contacted Zara during the trip. Usman claimed TLC edited it to make it appear he contacted her after Kimberly went home, which Usman denied, and there are a few reasons why Usman might be right.
