Deavan had her daughter, Drascilla, with a previous partner before having baby boy Taeyang with her estranged The Other Way husband, Jihoon Lee. Deavan appeared alongside Jihoon on The Other Way and quickly became infamous for blaming the South Korean native for all of her problems. Deavan frequently berated Jihoon and called him out alongside her villainous mother, Elicia Clegg. Many viewers were horrified with Deavan's neglectful actions as a parent, as she did not instill any manners in Drascilla.
