Whether concealed within the pages of a book or projected in a theater, horror captivates audiences in a way few other genres can; video games are no different.
Although horror games are more widely associated with PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, there are a surprisingly high number of blood-curdling titles that have been released on the Switch — original IP, remasters, remakes, and ported horror games fill the console's expansive catalog. Although it features a great deal of side-splitting humor, the spine-chilling paranormal forces make it one of the scariest horror games on the Nintendo Switch. Featuring a large open world and an anime-esque aesthetic, is an enjoyable experience, albeit one that is terrifying at times.
