The Enlightened reputation gains have changed, requiring players to farm Rares on Zereth Mortis in order to reach Revered quickly and unlock the item needed to craft your Covenant Double Legendary. For the sources of Enlightened Reputation, check our previous post: Enlightened Reputation Sources
Why is Enlightened Reputation Important? The main reason you'll want to hit Revered is due to Memory of Unity, which allows you to craft your Covenant Legendary in all slots. Without this item, your only option for double legendaries will be the belt received during the 9.2 Campaign. Remember that you only need to reach Revered to obtain the memory to craft the covenant legendary, as you will continue to receive the Unity Belt for your class by completing Chapter 7 of the 9.2 Campaign, Starting Over, starting at week 5 of Patch 9.2 and these Belts do not have any reputation requirement for them but are stuck at 265 Item Level. Other important items that require less reputation are the Tome of the Eternal, the optional reagent to craft Rank 7 base legendary pieces, and the Recipe: Crafter's Mark of the First Ones, the item to craft ilvl262 Unique-Equipped pieces. Both these items require Honored with the Enlightened to purchase them. Lastly, the Vessel of Profound Possibilities which unlocks at Exalted and also has a requirement of obtaining Keystone Hero, Duelist or Mythic: Sepulcher for upgraded conduit item levels.
