A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has created a unique Podracer inspired by the ones in Star Wars. Since the game was released, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fans have created a wide range of impressive vehicles, and this Podracer blends the worlds of Zelda and Star Wars.
The original Star Wars films had memorable vehicles like the AT-AT, AT-ST, and Landspeeders. When The Phantom Menace prequel was released, Podracing was introduced to the series. Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability allows players to explore different creative options with the objects available in the game. Players have already used the ability to make many Star Wars creations. One player made a Separatist Droid tank, another crafted an AT-AT, and one built an X-Wing. This Star Wars fan took things even further by making a Zelda version of the Podracers in the Phantom Menace.
Reddit user Divlogue recently shared a clip showing off their Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Podracer. The video begins with Link activating the unit with a Steering Stick which causes four fans on each corner of their platform to push the vehicle up. A wheel at the front of this unit is connected to one with more fans by multiple poles, giving a fair distance between Link and the fans propelling the vehicle forward. The player controls the front fans with the Steering Stick as they soar above the Tears of the Kingdom Hyrule landscape before taking it off a big drop to a watery area below. As the Reddit user had to recharge their vehicle in the process, it notably uses a lot of Zonai Charges to operate.
