Warning! Spoilers ahead for Young Sheldon season 5.
A current Young Sheldon season 5 storyline involving Georgie (Montana Jordan) could explain why Sheldon (Jim Parsons) wasn't against a specific romantic choice Leonard (Johnny Galecki) made on The Big Bang Theory. CBS' premier comedy has been doing a great job putting equal focus on the entire Cooper clan instead of just Sheldon. For a while, he remained single, although some hoped that Georgie would get back together with Veronica Duncan (Isabel May) instead of focusing on finding a job since he has started contributing to the household. Ultimately, Georgie joined Meemaw's (Annie Potts) laundry/gambling business. Since then, he has been doing well, but now his love life is back on track as he has begun dating Mandy (Emily Jordan Osment).
