Kirby and the Forgotten Land takes Kirby to a whole new dimension, and that's not just referring to this being Kirby's first adventure in 3D. At the start of the game, Kirby, Bandana Dee, and the other Waddle Dee residents of Planet Popstar are sucked into a dimensional wormhole. Kirby then washed up onto a beach, marking the beginning of an adventure through the titular Forgotten Land.
Throughout Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby encounters the Beast Pack: a new group of villains that are set on kidnapping all the Waddle Dees who have recently arrived. Collecting Waddle Dees is fun on its own, but doing so rewards Kirby greatly.
