On April 29, NBA 2K22 unveiled a great amount of new content available in-game, with several new units becoming available through challenges. Fans of the MyTeam mode of NBA 2K22 can now begin adding new units to their squad as part of NBA's 75th anniversary celebration.
In total, seven Galaxy Opals, two Pink Diamonds, three Diamonds, and one Amethyst are hitting the game and contain some of the best names in the game. Whether it's help on defense or adding one of the best power forwards in NBA 2K22, the long list of new additions has a little of something for everyone.
NBA 2K22 New Glitched Series Features Three New Dark Matter Units
The categories break down into three separate sections: Triple Threat Online, Triple Threat The 100 Offline, and Clutch Time. With Triple Threat Online, new Galaxy Opal LeBron James, Elgin Baylor, and Clyde Drexler arrive on the scene, along with Diamond Russell Westbrook and Amethyst George Gervin. Players can jump into Triple Threat online games and start piling up the wins to earn each player. Triple Threat: The 100 Offline offers two more Galaxy Opal units in Stephen Curry and Hakeem Olajuwon, a Diamond Hal Greer, and one of the best Pink Diamond additions to NBA 2K22 in Kobe Bryant. Finally, the Clutch Time series features Galaxy Opals Dolph Schayes and Rick Barry, Pink Diamond David Robinson, and Diamond Michael Jordan.
Interestingly enough, the Galaxy Opals featuring current players such as Curry and James are rated as 97-overall, while legends like Olajuwon, Drexler, and Schayes are all rated as 98-overall.
