The Yellowjackets season 2 credits will include new cryptic scenes teasing future plots. Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, and executive produced by Jonathan Liso, the drama series first premiered on Showtime in November. It tracks the fallout of a 1996 plane crash, in which a group of teenage soccer players become stranded in the wilderness for 19 months, observing their struggles to survive while also exploring some of their current lives in 2021. Yellowjackets features an ensemble cast, starring Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, and Jasmin Savoy Brown, among others. Since its release, the show has garnered critical acclaim and produced growing word-of-mouth and social media presence, becoming one of the network’s biggest debuts on streaming.
Yellowjackets season 1 proved capable of maintaining strong ratings, particularly as it headed into its final stretch of episodes, consistently keeping audiences engaged with interesting choices on the creative end.
