Genshin Impact update 2.5 added new Electro catalyst named Yae Miko to the playable roster. Even though players seem to be satisfied with her performance in fights, recent leaks have confirmed that she will receive a couple of changes to her Elemental skill.

A credible Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed that the recently released Yae Miko will receive some additional changes. Apparently, the Sesshou Sakura she leaves by activating her elemental skill will now prioritize the nearest enemy. The current Sakuras target selection is random which is usually not the way most skills in the game work. These changes will allow Yae Miko's DPS rotation to be more consistent since players will be able to control the target selection by a certain degree.
Yae Miko's unique playstyle gives a lot of creative ways to beat down opponents. Although there was a lot of hype around this mysterious character, her fans had to settle with the fact that she's just a decent character. Her main draw is probably that she's fairly easy to build as she doesn't need a specific artifact set. However, the upcoming Genshin Impact updates will most likely bring an artifact set that suits her playstyle.
