Ashera's class is The Lone Exile; it comes with one of the best-looking armor sets in the game, and she's arguably the best defender, making her job class a must.

Locating Ashera isn't too hard, but she is a missable character when following the main story in Chapter 4 instead of opting to explore. When the story gets going in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, it is surprisingly easy to get carried away and miss all of the exclamation and question marks dotted all over the map.

Before attempting to unlock Ashera, the party should be at least Level 36-40. The higher the party's level, the easier time they'll have dealing with the waves of enemies in the quest.
