The Machine Assassin is an Attacker-based class, and it's the kind of class that focuses on debilitating foes before ravaging them outright. This is good not only for the wielder of Machine Assassin, but for the rest of the party as well, since every character who attacks a debuffed enemy gains that same advantage over them.
Does that make Machine Assassin a more support-oriented Attacker? Well, yes and no. You see, it's kind of a damage-building class above all, and what we mean by that can be summed up tidily with one of its major Class Skills: Chaos Chain increases the amount of damage the Machine Assassin inflicts per debuff, stacking to a total of 150 percent per hit. Right off the bat, that's kind of monumental.
It gets better. Courtesy of the Tyrant Cross Combat Art, Machine Assassin can strike whilst also inflicting a randomly-chosen debuff upon the enemy.
